Research and Projects

The themes below reflect areas that Terra Adentro is interested in exploring in 2026. They are presented as open invitations for dialogue, collaboration, and shared exploration with others working on related concerns.

Arts in Times of Collapse explores the role of artistic practice in contexts of ecological and social breakdown. We are interested in how art can help people process change, confront difficult realities, and create spaces for critical reflection.

Wealth, Reparation and Regeneration investigates the role of wealth in shaping ecological and social consequences. We explore questions of historical responsibility, redistribution, and regenerative approaches that reconnect resources with the communities and ecosystems they affect.

False Solutions to Climate Crisis and Greenwashing  looks at responses to the climate crisis that promise rapid solutions while leaving underlying drivers of ecological harm unchanged. We focus on identifying patterns of greenwashing and examining alternatives grounded in accountability and systemic change. This work originated within the GTDF and T5C context, particularly with the guidance of Chief Ninawa Huni Kui, with whom we continue to collaborate with.

Rights of Nature and More than Human Worlds examines the growing movement to recognize legal rights for nature and more-than-human life. We are interested in both its potential to strengthen protection and its limits within legal and political systems shaped by extractive histories.
