Who we are
Camilla Cardoso
Camilla Cardoso is a consultant and institutional strategist working across cultural, artistic, civic, philanthropic, and investment contexts in processes of systemic and institutional transformation connected to climate justice and ecological transition. Over nearly two decades, she has developed and led projects spanning strategic advisory, partnership development, fundraising, educational initiatives, and cross-sector collaborations across institutions, networks, and community-led initiatives. Her work bridges institutional experience with broader questions of responsibility, reparation, transition, and collective futures, engaging critically with dominant approaches to social and ecological change.
As co-founder of Terra Adentro, Camilla collaborates with organizations, foundations, artists, researchers, and Indigenous-led initiatives in Brazil and internationally. A former member of the Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures collective, her trajectory has also been shaped by long-standing relationships with Indigenous communities connected to the Teia das 5 Curas network. She has worked with organizations including MAM Rio, Itaú Cultural, the University of Victoria, the University of British Columbia, and the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies. Camilla holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), studied at Schumacher College (UK), and holds a certificate in Climate Psychology.
